Enjoying the Mountains

The Mountains was a beautiful place to be. There were lots of pokemon in the area & everything looked wonderful.

Emma sat on a rock near a lake, watching the pokemon peacefully
"if only it could always be like this..."
she sighed

Suddenly, a russling came from the bushes.

umbreon tensed at her side and hissed at the sudden noise
"hm?"
Emma's eyes turned to the bush, her own body tensing too

Suddenly, a badly beaten Pidgey staggered out of the bushes.

Emma felt sumpathy for the wounded Pidgey so she walked over to it and started to spray a potion on its wounds

"Espeon" growled what sounded like an Espeon as the pidgey was lifted in the air via psychic powers & was slammed into the trees & them slammed into the ground before being let go.

Umbreon hissed again
"Umbreon..."
it uttered, arching its back in an agressive manner

Emma caught the Pidgey as it landed, scraping her knees

Suddenly, a weird Espeon came out of the same bushes that the Pidgey came out of. It's fur was black instead of it's light purple color. It's eye were red & the jewel on it's forehead was blood red. The Espeon radiated darkness & aggresiveness. "Espeon" growled the Espeon as it barred it's surprisingly sharp teeth at Umbreon.

Umbreon continued to hiss, the rings on its back glowing fiercly
"Umbreon, step down..."
Emma whispered. Unbreon reluctantly returned to her masters side

"Espe" she hissed, calling Umbreon a coward in the Pokemon language.

umbreon hissed back
"umbreon...umbre,"
i know where my loyalties lie

"Espe..Espeon" she hissed. Yeah, with that of a weak human she said back. "Espeon, stop making trouble" said a cold voice as a teenager about 16 years old walked out the bushes. He wore a black shirt, black gloves, black pants, black boots & had on a dark blue trenchcoat. he had silver hair, tanned skin & cold yellow eyes. "Espe" she said. Forgive me master she said.

Umbreon nuzzled her master affectionately as Emma pat her head in response
Emma turned and looked at the boy
"hello there,"

He looked at Emma with his cold, empty eyes. "Hello. My name is Phantom. This is my first companion Espeon" he said as he scratched behind Espeon's ears & the Espeon purred.

she looked back passively
"i'm emma, this is my first companion, Umbreon,"
she looked down at Umbreon fondly as Umbreon nuzzled her again

"Forgive Espeon. She is very aggressive" he said.

Emma shook her head
"it's not a problem, Umbreon's just wary wary, thats all,"
a hint of a smile touched her featured before her face reutrned to its emotionless state

He raised a silvery eyebrow at her emotionless face but said nothing. "So, where are you from?" he asked.

"Fuschia City. And you?"
she looked up at him, slightly curious

"I come from a dark town in the Orre region called Funan City, a place overrun by crime" he said.

she nods
"i've been there...it's not the most pleasant of places,"
she stood up, to stop herself from straining her neck to talk to him

"Yes, that is why I left. That was where I got my first two Pokemon, Espeon here & Jolteon. You see, in the Orre Region, people battle with two pokemon at a time" he explained.

"oh...well, i'm not used to that i'm afraid,"
sighs and rubs the back of her neck

"I understand. In the other regions, they use only one Pokemon but on one occasion, they use two Pokemon" he said, nodding his head in understanding.
